Democratic Amnesia Won't Work...

Update - After reading about how President Bush is finally responding to his lying critics, scroll to the bottom of this post for a link leading to a description of a recent debate loaded with Leftist America Bashing... it's lying American political opponents of President Bush who ultimately make this sort of attack so easy for others to believe...

The Whitehouse is starting to respond to the politically motivated anti-war smears of Democrats...

Looks like President Bush isn't going to let this Democrat tactic of lying about their war record and votes fade. Finally!

"It is regrettable that Senator Kennedy has chosen Veteran's Day to continue leveling baseless and false attacks that send the wrong signal to our troops and our enemy during a time of war. It is also regrettable that Senator Kennedy has found more time to say negative things about President Bush then he ever did about Saddam Hussein. If America were to follow Senator Kennedy's foreign policy, Saddam Hussein would not only still be in power, he would be oppressing and occupying Kuwait."

- Scott McClellan, White House Press Secretary

It is regrettable that Republicans have found more time to say negative things about Senator Kennedy then they ever did about Kim Jong Il.

It is regrettable that Republicans have found more time to say negative things about Michael Moore then they ever did about Saudi Arabia.

It is regrettable that Republicans have found more time to say negative things about Hillary Clinton then they ever did about Mugabe.

It is regrettable that Republicans have found more time to say negative things about fellow Americans then they ever did about [insert evil foreign dictator here].

No...No...No...

What's regrettable is that for their own political gain, Harry Reid and his lying left-wing buddies have been falsely accusing the president of the United States during time of war.

Not only are they lying about George W. Bush, they do so to the detriment of our fellow Americans whose duty has taken them into harm's way.

And finally, not only are Reid and Co. guilty of the above named sins, they are guilty most of all of trying to cover their lies with a claim of "patriotism". "Don't call me un-patriotic," they say "just because I falsely accuse you of being a liar, and you have the gall to defend yourself."

Pathetic.
